I understand why 2024 It won the Camera d’Or at Cannes, but I couldn’t watch the movie halfway through because of the love of my life.
It’s a great premise, and Armand caught my attention, as well as the amazing opening shot and overall camera work up until that point
A single celebrity mom is summoned to her son’s school by an incompetent teacher-administrator duo to discuss an incident involving his son and his friend.
That’s where it all started, and after that the whole thing becomes tiresome that it never recovers from
But then it meanders into its own pleasure territory and I still have no idea what the director was going for with the melange of sudden dance sequences and an actor laughing for 3 minutes straight.
